A particular attraction is the iconic Withernsea Lighthouse. This 127-feet (38-metre) high inland structure closed as a lighthouse in 1976. It now serves as a memorial museum for local girl and 1950s film star Kay Kendall. But do be sure to check opening days and times before you travel; at the time of typing, the museum was yet to reopen for the 2026 season.
