Honeysuckle Farm

A wonderful experience for adults and children alike, Honeysuckle Farm is a short drive up the coast from Aldborough and a stone’s throw from Hornsea. The farm is open during holidays and half-terms, and you can even milk the cows!

Head to Hornsea

It’s certainly worth spending a day or two in Hornsea, which also has an array of attractions for children and adults. You can take the Hornsea Rail Trail, which is a popular walking and cycling route – formerly a railway line, hence the name. The Hornsea Museum also puts the town’s history on display, and you also have countless pubs and restaurants, as well as a shopping village. 

This is before we’ve even mentioned Bugtopia – an enthralling tropical rainforest experience. Walk the Jungle Trail and witness creatures in their natural habitat. Despite the name, it’s more than just bugs. You’ll see lizards, parrots, snakes, and so much more.

The Deep, Hull

From the jungle to the ocean, The Deep is an award-winning aquarium located in the UK’s 2017 City of Culture. There’s more than enough to do in the city, but it’s definitely worth spending a great deal of time at this magnificent aquarium – in fact, given its status as one of the biggest aquariums in the UK, it will be hard not to spend a few hours here.
